Description
Dr. John S. Whorff, OD, earned the degree of Doctor of Optometry from the oldest optometry school in the country, the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus and earned his Ph.D. in Zoology in 1992 from Texas A&M University. At his lab in the Biology Department at College Station, he obtained significant funding from Mobil Oil and the state of Texas to develop imaging software and published several academic papers.
